Dhruv, IJT to make their mark in Farnborough Air Show
New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) Dhruv and IJT will be representing India's primer aerospace company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) at the Farnborough Air Show, which commences today.
Both Dhruv, the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) and IJT, the Intermediate Jet Trainer will be participating in the daily flying displays. While another Dhruv has been set aside exclusively for customer demonstration flights, a HAL statement said.
To catch this oppurtunity, HAL Chairman Ashok K Baweja is leading ateam consisting of senior officials, test pilots, designers and engineers.
They will be holding meetings with aviation majors to explore business opportunities in the area of aircraft structures, castings and forgings, engine components and design.
