Dhruv, IFT at Farnborough Air Show

Bangalore, July 17: Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH)-Dhruv and the Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) will make a mark at the Farnborough Air Show beginning today.

Both Dhruv and IJT will be participating in the daily flying displays, while another Dhruv had been set aside exclusively for customer demonstration flights.

In addition, the Dhruv and the IJT would also be positioned at the static display area, a HAL release here said.

HAL would be holding meetings with Aviation majors to explore business opportunities in the area of aircraft structures, castings and forgings, engine components and design.

HAL Chairman Ashok K Baweja was leading the Farnborough mission team comprising senior officials, test pilots, designers and engineers.
