CMC Q1 declines by 2.47 pc to Rs 14.95 crore

Mumbai, July 17 (UNI) CMC Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 14.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 15.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, down 2.47 per cent .

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 204.50 crore in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 232.35 crore for Q1 FY 06-07.

As per the Consolidated Results, the Group has posted a profit after tax of Rs 16.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 15.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06).

Total Income has increased from Rs 215.18 crore in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 252.05 crore for Q1 FY 06-07.
