Boeing selects UGS' Teamcenter for enterprise data management

New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) UGS, an IT major today announced selection of it's digital lifecycyle management solution, Teamcenter by Boeing as the enterprise data management system for future commercial airplanes and integrated defence systems programmes.

''The broad use of Teamcentre with 30,000 users at commercial planes have shown the benefits of Teamcenter's open platform and scalability,'' said Boeing Vice President of Information Technology Dave Fennel.

UGS software is used extensively in aerospace and defence even in critical operations while Boeing is one of the leading aerospace companies.
