3 students drowned in river Dardha
Jehanabad, Jul 16: Three students of Pratibha Pallawan Public School drowned in the Dardha river in Bihar's Jehanabad district this morning, police said.
Altogether five students of the school, situated at town area, had bunked their unusual attendance, being a holiday on Sunday, and went to take bath in the swelling river. Of them, three slipped down the deep and were swept away by the heavy current, pollice added.
Two other swam to safety.
The bodies were fished out and sent for autopsy.
