Son kills father

Kohima, Jul 16 (UNI) In a gruesome incident a man, believed to be mentally-unstable, hacked his father to death with a Dao (Machete) at Rusoma village under Kohima district yesterday.

According to official sources here today, the culprit identified as one Nedozelhou Psukri, about 42 years old and mentally retarded, hacked his father Rhoutsilie (77) when he did not heed to the son's demand for some money.

The culprit first hit his father with a piece of firewood than he used the weapon to hit on his head.

The culprit tried to escape towards Kohima when he was arrested by police.
