RTI Act satisfies people as PDS problems surface

Shillong, Jul 16 (UNI) The Right to Information Help Desk in Shillong has brought hope to the people of the state of a single window solution to their problems.

Mrs Dewon Surong was one of the 2000 visitors in Meghalaya who came to the Right to Information Help Desk here, to inquire about her ration card and its fate.

Hailing from Nongrynkoh village about 100 kms from here, Mrs Surong filed an application inquiring the fate of her ration card, which she had applied for many years ago.
