Principal shot dead in Bihar

Gaya, July 16 (UNI) The principal of a local college and a member of state JD (U) council was shot dead near Vishnupad temple under Civil lines police station here today.

Police said Vaidynath Prasad Singh, principal of Chandrasekhar College, was killed on the spot when criminals sprayed bullets on him.

The anti-socials attacked him when he was returning to his residence after performing worship at the temple.

The reason behind the killing was not immediately known.

An intensive search was on to nab the anti-socials.
