Delhi Police comb India Gate, find no bomb

New Delhi, Jul 16: The Delhi Police today said they did not find any bomb at the historic India Gate during the combing operation.

The Delhi Police Spokesman said it had received a hoax call from Mumbai that a bomb was planted in the India Gate, near the Parliament House.

The bomb disposal squad immediately took over the area and evacuated the visitors and tourists.

Sniffer dogs were also used during the combing operation, the police said.

After an hour of combing operation, the police declared the area safe.
