Neyveli Lignite to consider Q1 results on July 21

New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), whose disinvestment programme was temporarily suspended by the UPA government, has announced that its board will meet on July 21 to cosider the financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

A meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on July 21, 2006, to take on record the unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, a company statement said.

The government last month abandoned the sale of a 10 per cent interest in the company after a member of the Congress Party-led coalition threatened to quit.
