Lebanon says Israel wants Hizbollah pullback
BEIRUT, July 16 (Reuters) Lebanon today said Italy had relayed Israeli demands that Hizbollah guerrillas hand over two captured Israeli soldiers and pull back from the border area before agreeing to a ceasefire.
A statement after a cabinet meeting said Italian Prime Minister Roman Prodi had relayed the demands in a phone call to Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora.
