Haryana govt asks for Budget Estimates from all deptts

Chandigarh, July 16 (UNI) The Haryana government has issued instructions to all Head of Departments (HoDs) regarding preparation of Budget Estimates for the year 2007-2008.

A spokesman of the Finance Department said here today that all the departments are required to submit returns every year to the the department for the finalisation of Budget Estimates for the next financial year.

He said that it had been observed that some departments did not adhere to these instructions strictly while framing Budget Estimates leading to unwanted correspondence and delay.

He said the department heads had also been asked to submit explanatory Plan scheme memoranda giving full details including source of funding, upto date achievements, financial and physical targets for the year, quantum of Central Share or External Share as the case might be.
