Good response for Yamaha Gladiator in South India
Bangalore, July 16 (UNI) 'Gladiator', the latest launch from the stable of Yamaha Motors, has received good response in South India, company Sales Manager for Southern region Srikanth said today.
Speaking to newspersons after announcing the winners of the Gladiator 'Ride Tech Challenge' for two wheelers here, he said that within two months of its launch, over 1,000 Gladiator bikes have been sold in Karnataka.
Mr Srikanth said the new model, developed by Yamaha on the concept of a 'Next Generation Fun Bike', featured 4-stroke, 125 cc, 11 PS and 5-speed. It combined power and performance with dynamic sporty styling and an unmatched cost of ownership in the category.
He said Yamaha Motors' Gladiator 'Ride Tech Challenge', an exciting series of events across South India, had received overwhelming response from the public. The promotional event would be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and other major towns in the coming days. It would allow the participants to experience and decide for themselves the unbelievable performance of Yamaha Gladiator, he added.
