Diamonds worth Rs 57 lakh looted

Bhavnagar, July 15 (UNI) Diamonds worth Rs 57 lakh were allegedly looted from the office of a diamond merchant at Vijayrajnagar area here today.

According to the complainant Jivrajbhai Dharmashi, his servant Jivan Nepali fled away with the booty this morning. He lodged the complaint with the police after nepali could not be found till late in the evening.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit.
