Condolence meets, peace marches held in city

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) Condolence meetings and peace marches were held in different parts of the city here today to pay homage to victims of the Mumbai train blasts.

Ex-Shiv Sena leader and founder of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Raj Thackery organised a condolence meeting at Gadkari Chowk at Dadar here.

Bollywood actor and MP Shabana Azmi, along with other cine stars like Anil Kapoor and Dia Mirza, organised a peace march from Kaifi Azmi Udyan to Juhu Beach. The Spastics Society of India also held a peace march in Bandra Shiv Sena Executive president Uddhav Thackery also addressed a public meeting at the Ram Leela Maidan in Borivali which was held to condemn terrorism.
