CM's plane develops snag

Bhopal, July 16: A plane, carrying Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, developed a technical snag last night and was allowed to land after emergency arrangements were made at the airport.

Commerce Minster Babulal Gaur and some other ministers were also travelling along with the Chief Minister in the plane.

The plane reached the state capital from Indore at around 2030 hrs.

After the pilot learnt that the airplane's wheels were jammed due to some technical snag, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) was informed and emergency arrangements were made at the Raja Bhoj airport.

The plane had to remain airborne for some time before its wheels opened and it was allowed to land.

Superintendent of Police Anant Kumar Singh said the plane was now ready to underatake flights.

Sources said senior BJP leader L K Advani was arriving on this plane to the state capital. The plane has reached New Delhi to bring him here.
