37 HMK activists in custody
Chennai, July 16: Police took into custody as many as 37 activists belonging to Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) when they attempted to picket suburb Guindy railway station here today.
Party's youth wing State President P Prabhakaran, who led the agitation, told newspersons that the agitation was in protest against the recent serial bomb blasts in Mumbai.
He demanded that the Centre curb terrorist activities on the Indian soil at any cost.
