Ravishankar Prasad appointed BJP incharge of Uttaranchal

New Delhi, July 15 (UNI) Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad has been made incharge of the party's unit in Uttaranchal, which is going to the polls in a year.

BJP sources said Mr Prasad, who is also a spokesman for the party, was made the incharge by party president Rajnath Singh.

Mr Prasad succeeds former party MP Satpal Jain.
