Nagpur, July 15: Objecting strongly to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav giving a clean chit to the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in the July 11 Mumbai bomb blasts, BJP president Rajnath Singh today demanded the dismissal of the Uttar Pradesh government.

Mr Singh, who is here to launch a nationwide agitation against price rise and terrorism, said the Centre suspects the involvement of SIMI in the Mumbai massacre and under such cicumstances, Mr Yadav gave a clean chit to the hardline outfit whose role was clearly established in the Shramjeevi Express blast in UP that claimed ten lives.

Talking to newspersons here Mr Singh said SIMI was banned for its anti-national activities and urged the UP Governor to take serious note of the Chief Minister's reported statement that appeared in a section of the press and immediately dismiss the UP government.

Mr Rajnath Singh said his party has decided to launch a nationwide agitation against the hike in prices and against terrorism from Nagpur. The BJP has been demanding a white paper on the price rise by the Centre which totally failed to stop it, he added.
