Rabri demands Nitish Kumar's resignation
Patna, July 15 (UNI) Former Bihar chief minister and leader of the opposition in the state assembly Rabri Devi today alleged that the NDA had ''failed'' on all fronts and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Talking to mediapersons during a dharna here today, she alleged that the law and order situation had not improved and RJD workers have been ''gunned down'' in the present regime.
''Apart from this during the past nine months 8000 killings had taken place and and equal number of people had been abducted during the period,'' Rabri Devi alleged.
She condemned the state government for resorting to lathicharge on the teachers and said that her party would not give up the issue.
She raised her fingers on Mr Kumar and JD(U) state President Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh and alleged that they were ''neck deep in corruption and land scam''.
She demanded CBI probe into the allotment of land at Patna and other towns of the state at throwaway price to noted film director and producer Prakash Jha.
