President to meet 26 poor children

Bhopal, July 15 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam will meet 26 children belonging to deprived sections from this district during his visit to the Madhya Pradesh on July 17.

The meeting has been organised at the Vidhan Sabha premises here at the initiative of Speaker Ishwardas Rohani.

Mr Rohani said the children -- who passed with first division in class VIII and class X examination -- belong to very poor families.

The children would also get the opportunity to listen to Dr Kalam's speech.

He said the meeting would boost the morale of children.
