Police seize arms, ammunition

Hyderabad, Jul 15 (UNI) The Prakasam district police have seized arms and ammunition during exchange of fire in the last two months in the district.

District Superintendent of Police N Balasubrahmanyam told newspersons here today that four .303 rifles and 110 numbers of .303 ammunition, one 9 mm pistol, 276 numbers of 9 mm ammunition, one 8 mm revolver, 12 numbers of 8 mm revolver ammunition, nine live hand grenades, five landmines, nine communication scanner sets, ten remote blasting sets, 50 Electronic detonators, 100 kgs of gelatin and two claymore mines were seized from the dumps.
