Khurana writes another letter to PM
New Delhi, July 15 (UNI) Continuing his tirade against senior BJP leader L K Advani, former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana wrote another letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh seeking an inquiry into his conduct when he was the union home minister.
In the letter sent yesterday, Mr Khurana cited many examples in support of his allegations against Mr Advani. He also attached a copy of the letter written by Ms Gauri, former daughter-in-law of the Former Deputy Prime Minister to RSS Chief K S Sudarshan on November 11, 2004, in which she had made very serious allegations against Mr Advani.
Mr Khurana said a case of drug trafficking and drug consumption was registered against the owner of a hotel during the tenure of Mr Advani as Home Minister. During investigation, the names of more than 250 people dealing with the supply, consumption and financing of drugs came to light.
The former Delhi Chief Minister alleged that at the instance of Mr Advani the names of these people were never made public.
He claimed Mr Advani kept the file with him because of which the case was not pursued further.
While stressing the need for investigation into the case, he alleged that some of Mr Advani's family members were also involved in it.
He said ''If Rahul Mahajan can be prosecuted in the drug case then why all those 250 people, whose names were there in the file should have also not been prosecuted?'' UNI KAS MIR AT DS1416
