Srinagar, July 15 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered placements of 19 prosecuting officers in the Prosecution Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police in their own pay and grade against higher posts, an official spokesman said today.

He said Mr Subash Chander Bhagat and Mohmmad Yousuf Dar, both Deputy Director, Prosecution, have been placed as Joint Directors, Prosecution, Khurshid Ahmad Geelani, Mohammad Yaqoob Parray, both Subash Chander Gupta, Mangat Ram, Sarfaraz Hussain, all Chief Prosecuting Officers, have been placed as Deputy Directors, Prosecution.

He said Bashir Ahmad Wani, Nisar Hussain Draboo, Gulshan Ahmad Kaloo, Ichpal Singh, Syed Abdul Bari, Riyaz Ahmad Darzi, Parshotam Lal, Maroof Ahmad Manhas, Subash Chander Sharma, Murtaza Nasir, Mahesh Kumar, and Ravinder Kumar, all Senior Prosecuting officers, have been placed as Chief Prosecuting Officers.
