Israel recovers body of one of four missing sailors

JERUSALEM, July 15 (Reuters) The Israeli military has recovered the body of one of four sailors reported missing after a naval vessel was hit by Hizbollah fire off the coast of Lebanon, Israeli television reported today.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said she could not immediately confirm the report.

The Israeli vessel was hit yesterday, possibly by an unmanned drone packed with explosives, Lebanese guerrilla group Hizbollah said.

Israeli initially said the ship had been only lightly damaged, but later said the damage was worse and that four sailors were missing. The ship, still burning, was towed back to the Israeli port of Haifa.
