Delhi: Hoax bomb call at India Gate

New Delhi, July 15: Security agencies were alerted after police received a call this morning of a bomb being placed at the India Gate premises.

Tourists were evacuated and police cordoned off the area and began search soon after the call was received at 1055 hrs, according to the police.

However, after one-and-a-half hours of search, nothing was found and the call declared a hoax.

The call was later traced to a PCO situated at Patiala House Court Post office.
