CRPF officer detained alongwith a girl in Srinagar
Srinagar, July 15 (UNI) Police today detained for questioning a officer of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) after a girl was found in his vehicle.
Official sources said CRPF Deputy Commandant Vikram Singh, posted in south Kashmir, was detained by police after a girl, a resident of central Kashmir district of Badgam, was recovered from his vehicle near Iqbal park here this afternoon.
Singh is being questioned, the sources said adding senior CRPF officers rushed to police station Shergrahi where Singh was being questioned. However, another report said Singh was arrested on charge of kidnapping.
No senior CRPF official was available to comment on the incident.
