Bomb scare in Narayandri Express turned to be hoax

Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, July 15 (UNI) The bomb scare in the Tirupathi-bound Narayanadri Express from Hyderabad was turned to be a hoax call after searching the train, which was halted at Bibinagar station this evening after the authorities received an anonymous call that a bomb was planted in the train.

Police said the bomb squads and sniffer dogs rushed to the spot and conducted searches in the train. No bomb was found in the train. The train has now left for Tirupathi.

Police said after the train left from Secunderabad Railway station, the authorities there received a call at 1840 hrs that a bomb was planted in the train.

Immediately, the railway officials alerted the police and the the train was stopped at Bibinagar.

State Finance and health minister K Rosaish was also travelling in the train, police added.
