Arrest Warrant issued against MLA
Patna, July 15 (UNI) Patna's Chief judicial magistrate Sushma Sinha today a issued non-bailable arrest warrant against RJD MLA Rajesh Kumar Roshan alias Babloo Deo, in a case related to tresspassing in the office of the transport commissioner.
The court has issued the warrant against Mr Deo and suspended motor vehicle inspector (MVI) Sunil Prakash Tiwary on the prayer of police.
On the other hand, the court passed an order to add section 3 of the Prevention of SC/ST (Atrocities) Act in the FIR after a prayer was made by police in this regard.
Earlier, the FIR was registred under various sections of IPC and Arms Act.
The case is related to an allegation of tresspassing the office of transport commissioner-cum-secretary Pancham Lal and obstructing a public servant in discharging his official duty on July 3.
RJD MLA Babloo Deo, BJP MLA Awanish Kumar Singh and Mr Tiwary were named accused in the case.
While Mr Singh is free on bail, an anticipatory bail petition of Mr Babloo Deo is pending before the district and sessions judge to be heard on July 17 next.
