AP DGP lauds officers for peaceful conduct of polls

Hyderabad, Jul 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Director-General of Police Swaranjit Sen, today complimented all the commissioners and district chiefs for the peaceful conduct of civic polls.

At a video-conference with the unit officers here, he expressed hope that it would be repeated in the upcoming Gram Panchayat elections to be held in three phases starting from July 29 He also said lessons should be learnt from the recent elections and all precautionary measures must be taken at all places where poll-related violence had occured.
