AIDS afflicted couple commits suicide

Hardoi, July 15 (UNI) A couple afflicted with AIDS today allegedly committed suicide at Jajmau bridge in Gangaghat area of the nearby Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh.

According to police, a suicide note was also recovered from the deceased, which referred to AIDS as the reason behind taking the extreme step.

They were identified as Govind Raidas and his wife Sunita of village Sikri in Utrauli area of Hardoi district.

Details were awaited.
