Advani's charge against UPA for "political mileage" : Biman
Kolkata, July 15 (UNI) Left Front Chairman Biman Bose today described former deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's charge of ''rise in terrorism during the Congress-led UPA government's regime'' as a statement for "political mileage".
''Maximum terrorist attacks happened during the six-year rule of the BJP-led NDA regime. So how can he claim that terrorism has risen due to votebank politics during the regime of UPA government?'' Mr Bose said after an anti-terrorism march.
''Mr Advani has forgotten Parliament attack during their rule and is now blaming the UPA government for rise in terrorism in the country,'' he said.
''Mr Advani's charge against the UPA government is for political gains,'' he said.
''We are appealing to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony and to inform police if any unclaimed articles were found,'' he said.
