Three envoys including Ambassador to India fail to report
Kathmandu, July 14 (UNI) Three Nepali envoys, including the former Ambassador to India Karna Dhoj Adhikari, have failed to contact Ministry of Foreigan Affairs (MoFA) since they were called back following the end of King's rule here, media reports said today.
The missing former envoys are Ambassador to India Adhikari, who was appointed by the royal government, Prajwol Shumsher Rana who was serving in France and Rameshananda Vaidhya in Japan, The Himalayan Times quoted an official of the foreign ministry as saying.
All the royal nominated ambassadors were recalled by the government following the end of the King's rule and restoration of democracy in April.
''The ambassadors from Paris, Tokyo and New Delhi have not come in contact with the ministry, but we know they have left the respective embassies,'' ministry spokesman Yadav Khanal was quoted as saying.
Adhikari was recalled just before visit of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala to India in May.
