Tata Tea to announce Q1FY07 results on July 26

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) Tata Tea today said its board will consider its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 in a meeting on July 26.

A meeting of Board of Directors of the company will be held on July 26, 2006 to consider and approve the financial results and the consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, a company statement said.

Earlier, the company said that it would explore opportunities in new fields like tea tourism, flavoured ready-to-drink teas, iced-tea, tea parlours and tea mixed with herbs and fruits.

Presently, it has four tea estates in Dooars and 20 in Assam, having 17 tea estates in south India as well.
