Tariff rates on edible oils, brass scrap revised

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) The Government today revised tariff rates on various edible oils and brass scrap to bring these in alignment with prevailing global prices.

The new rates are effective from today itself.

The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has issued a notification (No.82/2006-Cus (N.T)) in this regard.

Following are the revised tariff value of edible oils (per metric tonne): crude palm oil-US2, RBD palm oil-US9, others - palm oil-US6, crude palmolein-US0, RBD palmolein-US3, others - palmolein-US2, crude soyabean oil-US6 and brass scrap (all grades)-US05.
