Sub-committee meet on AI-IA merger postponed
Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) The proposed Air India (AI) board sub-committee meeting, scheduled to be held here today to select a consultant firm for the merger of Air India with Indian (IA), was postponed due to inexplicable reasons.
According to sources in the A-I, the meeting of the sub-committee would now be held next week. No final date, however, has been decided as yet.
The three consultant firms that were shortlisted by the sub-committee during its earlier meeting held in New Delhi on June 26-27 include Accenture, ICICI Securities and A T Kearney.
The short-listed companies were among the top seven companies which had responded to the expression of interest (EoI). They were invited by the sub-committee to undertake the task of preparing the roadmap for the merger.
The three short-listed companies have already been provided with detailed terms of reference to enable them submit their final technical and financial bids in the past.
