Sixty gm brown sugar seized, two held

Ambikapur, July 14 (UNI) Two people were arrested and 60 gm brown sugar, worth Rs six lakh, seized from them in this district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.

Bihar's Chhapra-resident Neeraj Kumar Chouhan had brought the substance here and sold 30 gm to Koriya district-resident Sheru Ansari for Rs 30,000. He received Rs 20,000 cash, while Rs 10,000 was due as credit.

Police arrested Sheru from Koriya and seized 30 gm brown sugar from him. Neeraj was also arrested and 30 gm brown drug and Rs 20,000 seized from him.
