Security tightened at Mahakaleshwar temple

Ujjain, July 14 (UNI) Security has been tightened at Mahakaleshwar temple in this religious town in view of increase in terrorist incidents in the country.

Inspector General of Police (Ujjain range) Anil Kumar said a comprehensive plan has been worked out for further beefing up security at the temple.

Under the plan awaiting government clearance, 150 police officials, including one DSP and three inspectors, would be deployed in different shifts.

He admitted that there was dearth of adequate security personnel at the temple at present.
