Rupee opens weak by 34 paise at Rs 46.65/68/USD
Mumbai, Jul 14: The Indian currency today opened weak by 64 paise at Rs 46.65/68/US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.31/US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.
The increase in crude oil price is cited as a reason for the downfall of the rupee against Dollar.
In the mid-morning trade rupee traded at Rs 46.42/43/US Dollar.
Today the Sensex also opened in the red by 70 points at 10,782 compared to the previous close of 10,858 points.
