Resident's forum to meet State Special Projects Secretary on July 16
Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) Napean Sea Road Citizens forum, formed in 2001 to address basic civic problems faced by the residents of the area, has organised a group discussion between its members and government of Maharashtra, Special Projects secretary Sanjay Ubale on Sunday July 16.
The forum, in a release issued here, says it is concerned with the Bandra Sea Link project as it is likely to affect the Priyadarishini Park. Besides, the proposed high rise buildings in place of the existing bunglows will tax the fragile infrastructure- traffic, sewerage, drainage, water and electricity.
The resident's forum has been able to solve several civic problems since it was started. Among its success includes, bringing down the number of unauthorised hawkers from 150 to 30 in the area, getting a new storm water drain among others.
