President APJ Abdul Kalam to address MP Assembly

Bhopal, July 14 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam will address the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on July 17, the opening day of the monsoon session of the Assembly, celebrating its golden jubilee.

Dr Kalam, during his one-day visit to the state, will also visit tribal village Hatyadeli in Jhabua district to interact with the tribal children and see the development works and cultivation of 'jatropha', official sources said.

After arriving here by a special aircraft at around 1000 hrs, Dr Kalam will drive straight to the Vidhan Sabha to address the MLAs. He will plant a sapling at Vidhan Sabha premises and will leave for Indore, from where he will go to the Jhabua village by helicopter. He will later leave for Mumbai from Indore, the sources added.

There will be a total of 10 sittings during the monsoon session, which will conclude on July 28.
