Police nabs offenders
Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) Cyberabad police today arrested two notorious offenders, one of them holding an MBA degree and recovered property worth Rs 18 lakh.
Speaking to newspersons here, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy said M Vamshi Krishna (26) an MBA from Prakasam District, got attracted to luxurious life of some Stuvartpuram offenders and took to crime.
Though he had an ambition to go abroad for employment, he was tempted by some criminals to get into crime, in 2003.
He started committing thefts and was arrested by police in 2003 and 2004 for various offences.
Based on his confession, the police recovered five motorcycles, six car stereo sets, 30 mobiles, 60 tolas gold, a laptop, digital camera, home theatre system and Rs 20,000 in cash totalling Rs ten lakh.
In another case, the police arrested Ramakrishna of West Godavari District, wanted in several cases of dacoity, when he was searching for locked houses in Dilsuknagar to break into them.
Police recovered 700 gms of gold and six kgs of silver worth Rs eight lakh from him.
