Police claims to have busted gang of highway robbers

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of highway robbers with the arrest of five people from South Delhi.

Kausar Ali (35), Salim (27), Mohammad Alam (45), Kalu Sheikh (28) and Latif (21) were arrested from New Friends Colony yesterday.

During interrogation they revealed that they belonged to the 'Kausar Gang'.

Police said they were involved in more than 22 cases of highway robberies.

Police recovered one .32 bore revolver with to live cartridges, four button activated knives and three mobile phones.
