Pappu Yadav: SC grants two weeks time to CBI to file reply

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) The Supreme Court today granted two weeks time to the CBI to file reply to the petition of RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan Yadav alias Pappu Yadav who is in Tihar jail seeking bail in Ajit Sarkar murder case.

RJD MP was shifted to Delhi jail from Bihar after he was caught on TV cameras roaming freely and canvassing during elections despite the fact that officially he was in jail.

Pappu Yadav is the main suspect in the trade union leader Ajit Sarkar murder case who was murdered in 1990s in Patna.

A bench comprising Mr. Justice A.R. Lakshmanan and Mr. Justice P.K. Balasubramanyan adjourned the hearing after CBI told the court that it was yet to file its response.
