Kochi, Jul 14 (UNI) Responding to an SOS, a naval rescue team from the Southern Naval Command headquarters here this evening airlifted an injured Filipino crewman from an off-shore tanker and brought him here for treatment.

A naval spokesman said here that responding to a request from the Coast Guard about an injured crewman aboard the tanker MV Borag, a Seaking helicopter was launched from INS Garuda here despite low visibility and heavy rains this evening.
