Madarasas in K'taka to support orphans of Mumbai blasts
Bangalore, July 14 (UNI) Anjuman-e-Madaris Karnataka (AMK), an association of Madrasas, today condemned the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai and said it would extend financial assistance to children orphaned in the attack irrespective of their religious affiliation.
In a release here, AMK General Secretary Moulana Mohd. Anwar Rashadi urged the government not to tolerate such heinous and inhuman crimes and take measures to bring the guilty to book.
He appealed to the government to adequately compensate families of the victims and also provide best treatment to the injured.
AMK President Idris Habban Rahimi said a delegation had been sent to Mumbai to contact relief organisations to convey AMK's proposal.
