Israel helicopters fire near Gazans at Egypt border

RAFAH, Gaza, July 14 (Reuters) Israeli helicopters opened fire near Palestinians as they poured into Gaza from Egypt today, a Reuters witness said.

The Israeli army said the intention was to prevent Palestinians from crossing the border wall, which was blown open earlier by militants.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting.
