I will not allow further division of UP: Mulayam

Muzaffarnagar, July 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today made it clear that he would not allow further division of the state.

Addessing a rally here, the Samajwadi Party chief asserted although Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) was part of the ruling alliance, he would not allow formation of 'Harit Pradesh' in UP.

Further, the former defence minister said compared to the Congress-ruled states, the UP government was continuously fighting to curb terrorism from the root.

He said all the five terrorists in Ayodhya attack were shot dead, while the prime accused in Varanasi bomb blasts was gunned down in Lucknow.

Mr Yadav claimed that before entering UP, these terrorists come from Congress-ruled states including Jammu&Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
