High court employee raped in court premises

Kolkata, Jul 14 (UNI) An employee of Calcuta High Court was sexually assaulted by the driver of a judge in the court premises, husband of the woman said today.

The 35-year-old woman was criminally assaulted by the driver when she was climbing down the stairs on the western side of the high court yesterday morning, her husband, Arup Das told Calcutta High Court Bar Association in a letter today.

An employee of the judges' library, she also lodged a complain with the police detailing the incident, Mr Uttam Majumdar, Association's former secretary said.
