HDFC Bank earns Rs 1,855.10 crore in Q1

Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) The HDFC bank has earned total income of Rs 1,855.10 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal ended on June 30, as against Rs 1,157.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, a release issued by the bank here today said.

Net revenues were Rs 1,168.4 crore during the first quarter, thus, registering a growth of 48.4 per cent over Rs 787.2 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. The results of the first quarter were declared during the meeting of the board of directors of the bank held here this morning.

Portfolio quality of the bank during the first quarter remained healthy with net non-performing assets at 0.4 per cent of advance, as on June 30. The bank raised Rs 300 crore as upper tier-II capital and Rs 169 crore as lower tier-II capital, both in the form of subordinated bonds, the release added.
